We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise to join our team as a dedicated remote resource.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize scalable data models, database objects, and pipeline workflows within Snowflake.
- Write and tune complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and custom functions.
- Leverage AI development platforms (e.g., Claude) for code optimization, query refactoring, script generation, and workflow automation.
- Monitor virtual warehouse performance, optimize query execution times, and manage micro-partitioning for efficiency.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and clients to translate business rules into high-performance technical solutions.

Requirements

- 4+ Years in Data Engineering: Proven track record in data warehousing, schema design, and enterprise data pipeline development.
- Snowflake Expertise:



Advanced proficiency in Snowflake architecture, stored procedures, views, functions, and query optimization.
- Advanced SQL: Expertise in writing, debugging, and tuning complex database scripts and analytical queries.
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience using generative AI platforms (e.g., Claude) to boost coding efficiency and process automation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing and remote team coordination.

Preferred Skills

- ETL Tools: Experience building automated data pipelines and transformations using Alteryx.
- Business Intelligence: Experience with Power BI for dataset development, DAX calculations, and visual reporting.
