Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and product features. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models and data warehouses, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data needs, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and improve performance of existing data workflows.

The Data

Engineer will also document data systems, monitor pipeline health, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design scalable, well-structured data stores for analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency with Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools and frameworks, focusing on productive, reliable data movement and transformation.
- Background in Data Analytics, with the ability to support analytical use cases and collaborate effectively with analytics teams.




- Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python, Java, or Scala).
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, and exposure to big data or distributed processing platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, or similar).
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and best practices for handling large-scale datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong programming experience with Python.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Profile

7+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience across ETL/ELT, Databricks, and GCP BigQuery.

Strong Python programming and SQL development skills.

Proven experience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines.

Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and processing across multiple sources.

Experience working in enterprise data engineering environments.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
