The role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the data platforms our clients make decisions on. You’ll own warehouses, pipelines and data models from first conversation to production, and stay involved as they evolve. You’ll work with clients and teammates across North America, Europe and India, so you’ll be comfortable collaborating across time zones.

What you’ll do

- Design and build cloud data warehouses on Snowflake and BigQuery
- Model data that business users can trust, using dimensional modeling and dbt (tests, documentation, sources, snapshots)
- Build and orchestrate reliable pipelines with Airflow and Dagster
- Own CI/CD for data: version control in GitHub, automated testing and deployment with GitHub Actions
- Use Claude Code and agentic development workflows to ship faster, with good review and guardrails
- Sit with client teams to understand how their business runs, and turn that into the right data model
- Monitor, troubleshoot and improve production pipelines for data quality,



cost and performance
- Mentor other engineers and help shape how we build data platforms

What you’ll bring

- 3+ years in data engineering, with production experience on Snowflake and/or BigQuery
- Robust SQL and Python
- Deep data modeling skills (Kimball, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions)
- Hands-on dbt experience in production
- Experience orchestrating pipelines with Airflow and/or Dagster
- Solid Git workflow and CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions
- Real experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code or similar) in day-to-day engineering, and judgment about where they help and where they need review
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people
- Flexibility to overlap with teams across North American, European and Indian time zones

Nice to have

- Consulting or client-facing experience
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code
- BI tools such as Power BI
- Ingestion tools such as dlt, Fivetran or AWS DMS
- Experience supporting ML or operational AI workloads
