Shift timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing the organization’s data architecture. This includes defining how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across different data entities, IT systems, and applications.

The role will also involve leading the offshore Data Team and driving scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the entire offshore Data Team.
- Design and implement effective database solutions and data models.
- Evaluate client operations, applications, and programming to identify database requirements.
- Ensure database implementation procedures comply with applicable regulations and standards.
- Design and organize information systems to support business and technical requirements.
- Prepare database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
- Oversee data migration from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Monitor system performance through regular testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define data requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing to team members.

Technical & Functional Expertise

- Database Management: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, database architecture, design, and implementation.
- Data Integration: Experience integrating data from multiple sources while maintaining data consistency and quality.
- Data Governance: Understanding of data quality, data stewardship, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Cloud & Data Platforms: Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms and solutions.
- Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python. Knowledge in PySpark, R, Java, or similar programming languages used for data processing and analytics.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership: Solid leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members.

Preferred Experience

- Experience leading offshore data teams.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level data architecture.
- Hands-on experience with DBT, Snowflake, Python, Data Modelling, Erwin, BigQuery, (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Prefect/Airflow.
- Experience with data migration and modernization initiatives.
- Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
