Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / MIS Executive with 2–4 years of experience in DISCOM operations, power distribution, or smart metering projects. The candidate will be responsible for data management, MIS reporting, performance analysis, dashboard preparation, and tracking operational KPIs to support project monitoring and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to DISCOM operations, smart meter installation, billing, meter reading, and field activities.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze data received from field teams, vendors, contractors, and DISCOM officials.
- Track project progress, installation targets, consumer indexing, meter commissioning, billing efficiency, and other operational KPIs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports using MS Excel and Power BI, wherever applicable.
- Monitor actual performance against targets and identify data discrepancies, operational gaps, and delays.
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and DISCOM representatives for timely data collection and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of consumer data, meter installation status, pending cases, and project milestones.
- Prepare management reports, trend analysis, and performance summaries for review meetings.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and timely submission of reports.




- Support ad hoc data analysis and other MIS-related activities as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field will be preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or project operations, preferably in a DISCOM, power distribution, or smart metering project.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and data validation.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and operational performance summaries.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Good coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle large datasets and meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working with DISCOMs, AMI/AMISP projects, RDSS smart metering projects, or electricity distribution operations.
- Understanding of meter installation, commissioning, billing, consumer indexing, and field operations.
- Experience tracking project targets, SLAs, productivity, and vendor performance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
