Role Description This is a full time, on-site Cyber Security Faculty role based in Vadodara. The faculty member will design and deliver cyber security courses, prepare lesson plans, and conduct lectures, labs, and workshops aligned with industry standards and ImaginXP’s future-skills focus.

Responsibilities include developing and updating curriculum content, creating assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves mentoring learners, guiding projects and research activities, and supporting placement readiness through practical case studies and real-world scenarios.

Faculty will collaborate with academic coordinators and industry professionals to ensure continuous improvement of course quality and relevance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in core cyber security domains such as network security, application security, endpoint security, and security operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in risk management and governance, including information security policies, compliance frameworks, and cyber security standards.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in secure architecture and defensive techniques, such as threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing basics, and incident response.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with common security tools and technologies, such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection solutions, and encryption methods.
- Candidates should possess strong teaching and communication skills, including curriculum development, classroom facilitation, presentation skills, and student mentoring.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret technical issues, design practical lab exercises, and guide learners through complex concepts.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, or a related field are preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in teaching, corporate training, or working in a cyber security role within industry or academia
