We are looking for a Credit Manager specializing in Personal Loan Underwriting to assess loan applications, evaluate creditworthiness, and make informed credit decisions in line with the organization’s credit policies and risk parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Underwrite personal loan applications as per defined credit policies and underwriting guidelines.

- Assess customer eligibility based on income, employment stability, banking statements, credit bureau reports, and repayment capacity.

- Analyze customer profiles, existing obligations, FOIR, credit history, and repayment behavior.

- Identify potential fraud, policy deviations, and high-risk applications.

- Approve, reject, or recommend loan applications within the delegated credit authority.

- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Review exceptions and deviations and escalate cases wherever required.

- Maintain turnaround time (TAT) while ensuring the quality of underwriting decisions.

- Coordinate with sales, operations, and risk teams for clarification and resolution of credit queries.

- Monitor underwriting quality and contribute to minimizing early delinquency and credit losses.
