Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately code medical procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for coding accuracy.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain required documentation for coding purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Stay up to date with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2-7 years of experience as a Surgery Coder or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of CPC certification requirements.
- Proficiency in coding Same Day Surgery (SDS) procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/work-from-home setup.
