· Position: Finance Recruitment : Controlling Officer

· Department: Finance – Controlling

· Reports To: Controlling Management Accountant

· Location: Pune- India (with periodic UK travel)

Job Purpose :

To support the Controlling function by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial and cost analysis relating to manufacturing operations. The role focuses on inventory valuation, production costing, variance analysis, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with group standards and supporting data-driven decision-making across operations and finance. The role acts as a key link between Finance, Sales, Sourcing and Manufacturing, ensuring that costing methodologies, reporting, and analysis reflect actual business performance.

& requirement details :

· A cost accountant with a professional qualification from ICWA (The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India).

· The person who has at least 8 years of experience in hardcore manufacturing sector and that too as a cost accountant or management accountant.

· The person who will travel to the UK at least three times a year and two weeks each time. The period could extend, if needed. The person will be based in Coleford, Gloucestershire.

· The person should have a very valuable knowledge of all costing functions including standard costing, marginal costing, job costing, absorption costing, variance analysis, BOM, Routing, Inventory control and valuation, material overhead, labour cost, manufacturing overheads, SGA expenses,



budget vs actual margin cost comparison for the products etc.

· Knowledge of SAP R3 or S4 Hana is preferred. Knowledge of an ERP system (like Oracle Financial and Manufacturing) is a must. Fluency of Excel and knowledge of various AI tools that are currently used is necessary.

· The person will co-ordinate with senior members of the UK team including sourcing head, costing head, operations head, sales managers, COO, Finance Controller, CFO etc. Hence, the candidate should be confident. Fluency in English language (written as well as spoken) is a must. The candidate should be able to convince others with his/her thoughts to the other person confidently.

Travel Requirements

· Travel to the United Kingdom 3 times per year

· Each visit typically 7–15 working days

· Travel frequency and duration subject to business requirements and management discretion

Qualifications & Experience

· Qualified CMA (Cost & Management Accountant)

· Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding of Standard costing, Inventory accounting, Variance analysis

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, modelling, reporting)

· Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.

· Knowledge of automated reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain)
