Role & responsibilities The Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing the contractual aspects of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions, and facilitating smooth project execution. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts while working closely with project teams, clients, and suppliers. The incumbent leads a team of contract specialists and has vital responsibilities in carrying a project to an on-time, on-budget completion.

They will be the owner of the entire contracting process, both pre and post award activities. The responsibilities include negotiating the terms and conditions in contracts and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions,



including documenting and agreeing on any changes that may arise during its implementation or execution. The role involves systematically and efficiently managing contract formation, execution/administration, and analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial, scope and schedule related performance and minimizing risk.

Preferred candidate profile

12-15 years relevant experience with minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Contracts. Prior experience with Design-Build and skilled services contracts is required with advanced knowledge of Design Build contract risks and interpretations, including Progressive Design Build.
