Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes from various cuisines such as continental, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, and BHM (Bakery & Pastry).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor food stock levels and report any discrepancies to senior staff.
- Support cooking team during peak hours or special events as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Robust knowledge of multiple cuisines including continental, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, and BHM.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods.
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping purposes (e.g., inventory management).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hotel Management preferred.
