Machine Setup & Operation: Load raw materials, install tools, adjust feeds and speeds, and run test cycles. Programming & Adjustments: Input measurements and coordinates, or load/edit pre-written G-code programs and tool offsets.

Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify blueprint compliance. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily checks, clean equipment, replace worn-out tool inserts, manage chip bins, and report mechanical errors.
