Job Title: CNC Operator – Woodworking

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to operate computer-controlled woodworking machines for cutting, drilling, routing, engraving, and shaping wooden panels and boards. The candidate will be responsible for producing components according to technical drawings, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC routers and woodworking machines to manufacture wooden components as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions, cutting layouts, and production instructions.
- Load and unload materials such as MDF, plywood, particle board, solid wood, and other approved panels.
- Set up tools, cutters, workpieces, machine parameters, and fixtures.
- Run CNC programs and make basic program or parameter adjustments as authorized.
- Check finished components for dimensions, accuracy, surface quality, and defects.
- Perform first-piece inspection and routine quality checks during production.
- Identify machine faults, tool wear, and production issues, and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventive maintenance.




- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Maintain production records, material usage details, and job completion reports.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to meet daily production targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- ITI, diploma, or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Previous experience operating CNC woodworking machines is preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC routers, cutting tools, and woodworking materials.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments such as a vernier caliper and measuring tape.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programs and CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
- Valuable attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow production schedules and safety procedures.

Experience

As per company requirements; experienced CNC woodworking operators are preferred.

- Compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
