Role & responsibilities An Area Manager for the CABR (Corporate Agency and Broking) channel in life insurance (such as at companies like Axis Max Life or Bajaj Allianz Life) manages partner relationships, drives revenue growth, and oversees regional or branch-level networks through insurance brokers and corporate agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner & Branch Management: Manage a designated pool of partner bank, corporate agency, or broker branches (typically 8 to 10+ branches) to drive life insurance sales and productivity.
- Business Development: Identify, hunt, and onboard recent insurance distributors or corporate/broking partners in line with company growth strategies.
- Revenue & Target Achievement: Drive monthly, quarterly, and yearly business plans, focusing on Adjusted First Year Premium (Adj MFYP) and overall revenue targets.
- Training & Enablement: Connect with partner branch employees to organize product trainings, joint sales calls, and field demonstrations (FODs) to explain product USPs.
- Quality & Persistency Control: Ensure a healthy product mix,



monitor persistency ratios (e.g., 13th-month persistency), and minimize business leakage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and regional leads inside partner organizations to maximize wallet share.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all sales, partner onboarding, and customer interactions adhere to IRDAI regulations and internal company policies.

Preferred candidate profile Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Experience: Typically 6 to 10 years of experience in sales, channel/distributor management, or broker-driven life insurance sales
