We are seeking a Cloud Operations Lead/ DevOps Engineer Lead to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will maintain, optimize, and scale our AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability and robust system performance. You will bridge the gap between core development and operational excellence by implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and participating in incident management cycles.

Unlike a traditional pure-play SRE role, this position focuses heavily on reliable cloud operations, infrastructure deployment, and proactive monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize AWS core services, focusing on high-availability configurations, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), and multi-region networking.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write, maintain, and troubleshoot clean Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of cloud environments.
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Design, test, and execute robust DR strategies and backup mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
- Operational Monitoring & NOC: Participate in Network Operations Center (NOC) activities, monitoring system health, and ensuring system alerts are actionable.
- Incident Management: Actively participate in incident response workflows, helping triage production issues, minimize downtime, and document post-incident reviews.
- Technical Ownership: Take ownership of operational tasks, driving them from identification to resolution with minimal supervision.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, with a demonstrated trajectory of technical ownership and leadership.
- Robust understanding of Linux, Windows, networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, monitoring platforms, and incident management processes.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch
- AWS Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM) and a solid understanding of cloud networking architecture.
- Practical IaC Experience: Strong foundational knowledge of Terraform (modules, state management, and workspaces) to manage infrastructure safely.
- Production Support & Troubleshooting: Ability to dig deep into technical problems during outages, demonstrating strong root-cause analysis skills rather than just surface-level troubleshooting.
- Operational Awareness: Familiarity with basic SRE principles (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets) and modern monitoring setups (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, or AWS CloudWatch).
- Communication & Collaborative Drive: Clear technical communication skills with the confidence to explain architectural choices and take accountability for production stability.
