About the role
We are hiring a Psychologist for our Sulur campus. This is a full-time residential post — accommodation and food are provided on campus. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside our psychiatrist, psychiatric social worker and nursing staff.
What you will do
- Psychological assessment at admission and ongoing review
- Individual therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing sessions
- Group therapy, relapse prevention and psychoeducation
- Family counselling and psychoeducation
- Maintain case files, progress notes and discharge summaries to MHA 2017 standards
- Discharge planning and aftercare follow-up
- Participate in ward rounds and case conferences
What we are looking for
- M.Sc Psychology or M.Phil Clinical Psychology
- Freshers welcome; experience in de-addiction or psychiatric settings is an advantage
- Fluent Tamil; working English for documentation
- Comfortable with digital record entry
- Candidates must be willing to stay on campus residentially — local Coimbatore candidates who cannot commit to residential stay may not be suitable
