Civil Site Supervisor – Role &

Responsibilities A Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction work at a site and ensuring that work is completed safely, correctly, on time, and according to drawings/specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Supervision

- Supervise daily construction activities.

- Allocate work to workers and subcontractors.

- Monitor progress and productivity.

- Drawing &
- Technical Work

- Read and understand civil/structural drawings.

- Ensure construction follows approved drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with engineers when there are drawing or site issues.

- Quality Control

- Check materials and workmanship.

- Monitor concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, etc.

- Ensure required inspections and tests are completed.

- Safety

- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures.

- Check PPE and safe working practices.

- Report and help correct unsafe conditions.

- Materials &

- Equipment





- Monitor material requirements and usage.

- Coordinate material deliveries and storage.

- Check availability and proper use of tools/equipment.

- Measurement &

- Records

- Take/check site measurements.

- Maintain daily progress reports, labour records and material records.

- Assist engineers/quantity surveyors with measurements and bills.

- Coordination

- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors and workers.

- Communicate daily work targets and resolve routine site problems.

- Schedule &

- Progress

- Follow the construction schedule.

- Track daily/weekly progress.

- Inform the project engineer about delays or problems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
