Manit Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Engineer to independently supervise and manage construction activities at our factory and company-owned properties.

The candidate will be responsible for complete site execution, contractor and labour management, material planning, expense monitoring, construction quality and daily reporting to management.

We are looking for a hands-on professional who can take ownership of construction projects and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Construction & Site Management

- Supervise factory construction, industrial sheds, foundations, boundary walls, roads and land development.
- Manage daily construction activities and site execution.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and contractors.
- Monitor construction progress and maintain quality standards.

1. Contractor & Labour Management

- Supervise contractors, subcontractors and construction workers.
- Monitor labour attendance, productivity and daily work allocation.
- Verify contractor work measurements and bills.
- Ensure contractors meet agreed timelines and quality requirements.

1. Material & Expense Control

- Prepare material requirements and quantity estimates.
- Monitor cement, steel, sand, aggregate and other construction materials.
- Verify material deliveries, consumption and stock.
- Maintain daily expense records.
- Control material wastage and unnecessary expenses.
- Track actual project expenses against approved budgets.

1. Project Planning & Reporting

- Prepare daily and weekly construction schedules.
- Monitor project progress against deadlines.




- Submit daily progress reports with site photographs.
- Report daily labour deployment, material consumption and expenses.
- Highlight delays, problems and decisions requiring management approval.
- Prepare weekly progress and expense summaries.

1. Quality & Safety

- Inspect construction materials and workmanship.
- Supervise RCC, reinforcement, concrete, masonry and finishing work.
- Coordinate required quality testing.
- Ensure safe working conditions at construction sites.
- Identify construction defects and arrange corrective action.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of practical civil construction experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in factory, industrial or commercial construction preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience in BOQ, quantity estimation and contractor billing.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong contractor management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage construction activities and provide accurate daily reports.

Preferred Candidate Preference will be given to candidates who have independently handled factory construction or industrial development projects and have experience in project budgeting, cost control and contractor management.
