Role Description This is a full time, on-site Civil Engineer position within the Bridge & Bearings Division, based in Bhopal. The role involves designing and reviewing bridge bearings, expansion joints, and related structural components in accordance with national and international standards.

The Civil

Engineer will prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.



Daily responsibilities include planning and monitoring project activities, assisting in site inspections, resolving technical issues, and supporting compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The role also requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to support timely delivery and continuous improvement of engineering solutions.

Qualifications

- Civil Engineering foundations: Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Civil Engineering and be qualified Civil Engineers with relevant academic background (e.g., B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering).
- Design and technical skills: Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering Design, including structural analysis and detailing for bridges, bearings, and expansion systems.
- Project planning and coordination: Candidates should possess skills in Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation for bridge and infrastructure projects.
- Infrastructure and drainage: Candidates should possess familiarity with Stormwater Management and related civil works in bridge and roadway projects.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: Experience in bridge engineering or bearing design, knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IRC, IS, etc.), proficiency in CAD/structural design software, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and teamwork skills, and prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
