Role Description The Civil Architect will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with design and construction teams to develop and execute architectural plans for residential and civil projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed architectural drawings, coordinating structural and MEP requirements, and ensuring designs comply with local building codes and safety standards. The role involves regular site visits, monitoring construction progress, and resolving design-related issues in coordination with engineers and contractors.

The Civil

Architect will also participate in project planning, support client presentations, review material specifications,



and contribute to design improvements that enhance functionality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create practical, aesthetic, and compliant building plans.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, and overseeing project timelines and deliverables.
- Familiarity with Integration of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and interior elements to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Ability to work with relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and readiness to collaborate with Software Development and integration teams when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and construction standards applicable in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in office with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in residential or civil construction projects is preferred; registration with professional bodies is an added advantage.
