- Robust software architecture & technical design skills; a track record of systems that scale
- Solid DevOps capability: CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, security, incident response
- Product management strength you can own a roadmap, prioritise against outcomes, and ship
- Comfortable hands-on in a small, resource-conscious team, moving between strategy and execution
- Clear communicator across technical / non-technical teams and time zones
- Experience in EdTech, marketplaces or two-sided platforms (students & mentors)
- Experience scaling products across emerging markets in Asia or Africa
- Practical AI integration experience in live products
- Localisation and multi-language platform experience
- A track record of taking undocumented systems and making them robust and team-owned
