Chat Support Executive A retail chain running about forty stores in the south, building a chat support line alongside them

This retail chain has partnered with Flexiple, a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India, to build out a chat support line for online and in-store customers who message instead of calling. This is a chat-only seat, no voice queue, for customers reaching out about orders, exchanges, and store stock.

What the role covers

You would handle inbound chats from the retail chain's website and app, answering questions on order status, returns, exchanges, and store stock availability, and looping in a store or a supervisor when a query needs it. Expect to run several chats side by side during busy hours, especially around sales and festive periods.

Day to day

- Answer inbound chat queries on orders, deliveries, returns, and stock
- Run multiple live chats in parallel during peak hours without losing accuracy
- Escalate exchange, refund, or complaint cases to the right store or supervisor




- Log every conversation clearly enough for a colleague to pick up where you left off
- Flag recurring issues back to the support lead

What you would bring

- 0 to 2 years of experience; freshers with good written English are welcome
- Fast, accurate typing and comfort holding several conversations at once
- Patience with repeat questions and a calm tone in a written complaint
- Willingness to work store-adjacent shifts including weekends

Valuable to have

- Any prior retail, e-commerce, or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with a helpdesk or live-chat tool
