Trivandrum Hotel is looking for Captains This role involves ensuring the safety of passengers and crew, navigating routes, and overseeing all aspects of the transportation process. Captains play a critical role in maintaining compliance with regulations, responding to emergencies, and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Command and Navigation

Assume command of the vessel or aircraft, taking responsibility for its safe and efficient operation.

Navigate routes, considering weather conditions, traffic, and other relevant factors.

Safety and Emergency Response

Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew.

Respond to emergencies, including coordinating evacuation procedures when necessary.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing transportation.

Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Communication

Communicate effectively with crew members,



air traffic control, ground control, and passengers.

Provide clear instructions and updates during the journey.

Decision Making

Make informed decisions regarding route changes, fuel stops, and other operational aspects.

Assess and address any challenges or issues that arise during the journey.

Customer Service

Interact with passengers in a skilled and courteous manner.

Address passenger inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Maintenance Oversight

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure the proper functioning of the vessel or aircraft.

Conduct pre-flight or pre-sailing checks to verify equipment readiness.

Recordkeeping

Maintain accurate records of journey details, including logbooks, flight plans, and incident reports.

Submit required documentation to relevant authorities.

Training and Development
