We are looking for an experienced CAM Programmer with hands-on expertise in Autodesk PowerMill and CATIA for CNC machining and manufacturing programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC machining programs using PowerMill or CATIA.
- Create and modify toolpaths for machining components.
- Understand 3D models, engineering drawings and machining requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, machining strategies and parameters.
- Perform toolpath simulation and collision checking before machining.
- Optimize machining programs to improve productivity and surface finish.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing and production teams.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality output.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in CAM programming.
- Hands-on experience in Autodesk PowerMill or CATIA.
- Knowledge of CNC machining and toolpath generation.
- Understanding of 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining strategies, cutting tools and toolpath simulation.
- Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
