Role & responsibilities

- Oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage, train, and supervise staff across kitchen, service, and beverage operations.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage consistency, hygiene, ambience, and customer service.
- Handle inventory management, vendor coordination, stock control, and wastage reduction.
- Monitor daily sales, operational expenses, billing, cash handling, and profitability.
- Ensure proper staff scheduling, discipline, and accountability across all departments.
- Address customer feedback and complaints professionally while maintaining the cafe's brand standards.
- Coordinate with the owner on business performance, operational improvements, and growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and other applicable regulations.
- Take ownership of the overall guest experience and maintain the cafe's reputation.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management.
- Knowledge of POS systems (petpooja, etc.), billing,



daily sales reports, and basic cost management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of cafe operations, food and beverage service, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage staff, resolve operational challenges, and work under pressure.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to control costs and improve revenue.
- A proactive, responsible, and hands-on approach to managing the entire outlet.
