Domain: Automotive CAE / Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
We are looking for a skilled CAE Engineer with experience in finite element (FE) modelling, meshing, and linear static analysis to support automotive engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain CAE meshing, finite element models, and analysis models for assigned studies.
- Perform finite element modelling using pre-processing tools.
- Conduct linear static analysis and model validation.
- Develop FEA models at system and vehicle levels, including connections.
- Apply knowledge of vehicle architecture and automotive manufacturing processes.
- Follow DVA/DME standards and Ford-approved CAE processes, methods, and procedures.
Required Technical Skills
- Finite Element (FE) modelling and meshing using pre-processors.
- Linear static analysis and model validation.
- Vehicle architecture and manufacturing process knowledge.
- Understanding of DVA/DME standards for CAE.
- FEA modelling from system level to vehicle level, including connection modelling.
