Job Summary
We are looking for skilled CAD Design Engineers with automotive design experience and proficiency in CATIA V5/V6. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, component design, assembly design, and engineering modifications in accordance with automotive OEM and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
- Design and develop automotive components, parts, and assemblies.
- Work on automotive product design, detailing, and engineering modifications.
- Perform part modelling, assembly modelling, surface modelling, and drafting.
- Understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances,
and design specifications.
- Support design validation, clash checks, and design reviews.
- Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO) as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing, and customer engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, assemblies, and detailing.
- Understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerance stack-up.
- Knowledge of automotive components and product development processes.
- Experience in design modifications and engineering change management.
