Role & responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C/C++.

- Perform code debugging, issue investigation, and defect resolution.

- Participate in Unix-to-Linux migration activities, ensuring seamless application transition and compatibility.

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.

- Optimize application performance and database queries to improve system efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot critical system issues as required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming.





- Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of complex applications.

- Hands-on experience in Unix to Linux (U2L) migration projects, including application migration and validation.

- Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.

- Robust knowledge of SQL and database query optimization.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications and databases.

- Ability to analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application support processes.
