ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for someone to build and own the finance function at Fundamento. This isn't just a reporting role- you'll work closely with the founders and leadership team on financial planning, business decisions, investor management and the financial operations that keep the company running.

A key part of the role will be understanding our cost of serving customers, building reliable unit economics and helping us make better decisions on pricing, margins and growth. You'll also get hands-on exposure to fundraising, investor relations and strategic corporate transactions as the business evolves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business & Strategic Finance

- Partner with the founders on financial planning, capital allocation, growth priorities and key business decisions.
- Own financial models, cash flow projections, burn and runway planning, and build visibility into the company's financial health.
- Translate business performance into actionable insights, helping leadership make informed decisions on growth, margins and resource allocation.

2. Unit Economics & Commercial Strategy

- Build a deep understanding of the economics of our AI voice agents, from telecom and dialer costs to LLM infrastructure and cost-to-serve.
- Develop and own unit economics across clients and product lines,



identifying opportunities to improve margins and profitability.
- Work closely with sales and product teams on pricing strategy, deal economics and commercial decisions.

3. Fundraising, Investor Relations & Capital Strategy

- Drive fundraising processes alongside the founders, from financial modeling and investor materials to due diligence and investor queries.
- Own investor reporting, board materials and financial updates, ensuring stakeholders have a clear view of the business.
- Manage cap table and investor-related matters, and support decisions around capital structure and future financing.

4. Strategic Transactions & Corporate Governance

- Work with the founders on strategic initiatives such as our ongoing US-to-India reverse flip, potential M&A; and other corporate transactions.
- Partner with legal, tax and external advisors on transaction structuring, financial diligence, securities administration and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the company's financial and corporate governance stays ahead of its growth, with the right reporting, controls and compliance processes in place.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- 3–6 years of experience in finance, ideally in a startup, fintech or other high-growth business.
- Solid fundamentals in financial modeling, cash flow management, financial reporting and Excel/Google Sheets.
- A commercial mindset- able to connect financial numbers to business decisions, not just report them.
- Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, corporate finance or transaction-related work is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indian corporate, tax and regulatory requirements, and experience working with external advisors.
- High ownership and a willingness to build processes from scratch in a lean team.
