Business Development Manager – Medical is a full-time, in office position based in New Delhi. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in the diagnostics market, including hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and healthcare providers.

The Business Development

Manager will build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, present product solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate commercial terms. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research, lead generation, pipeline management, and coordination with internal teams such as sales operations, marketing, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes setting sales targets, tracking performance, preparing regular reports, and contributing to strategic planning for regional growth.

Qualifications

- Strong business development and sales skills in the medical or diagnostics sector, including lead generation, account management, and negotiation.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data,



and identify new opportunities within hospitals, labs, and healthcare networks.
- Proficiency in relationship management, stakeholder communication, and presentation of technical products to clinical and non-clinical audiences.
- Familiarity with in-vitro diagnostics products, reagents, or medical devices, and the ability to understand technical specifications and regulatory considerations.
- Solid organizational, planning, and reporting skills, with competence in using CRM tools and standard office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Prior experience in medical diagnostics, healthcare sales, or pharmaceutical business development is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region, and capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
