Architectural Lighting Concepts Pvt. Ltd. (ALC) is a design-led architectural lighting company working with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, developers and clients to create considered lighting solutions for the built environment.

ALC works with a curated portfolio of international and Indian architectural lighting brands, supported by in-house lighting design, application, technical and commercial expertise. Our work spans premium residences, hospitality, workplaces, retail, cultural and institutional spaces.

Our approach is solution-led rather than product-led. We begin with the architecture, the intended experience of the space and the client's design objectives, using lighting to enhance perception, reveal architecture and create atmosphere rather than allowing the equipment itself to dominate the space.

Role Mission To create and develop high-value relationships with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, developers and key clients, building a consistent pipeline of profitable architectural-lighting opportunities and developing those relationships over the long term.

The role combines new-business development with responsibility for selected existing key accounts.

It is a proactive relationship and business-development role rather than an enquiry-led sales position.

What Success Looks Like The successful candidate will:

- Proactively identify and develop relationships with new architectural practices, interior designers, lighting designers, developers and relevant clients.
- Create relationships from the ground up rather than depend primarily on inherited accounts, an existing contact list or incoming enquiries.
- Build meaningful relationships with senior architects, designers, developers and project decision makers.
- Identify projects sufficiently early for ALC to contribute to the lighting approach rather than simply respond to an already completed specification or bill of quantities.
- Understand enough about architecture and architectural lighting to recognise opportunities, ask intelligent questions and know when to bring ALC's lighting-design team into the discussion.




- Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline with clear visibility of project stage, value, stakeholders, competition, next actions and expected timelines.
- Take responsibility for developing the accounts assigned to them beyond the first project or order.
- Build repeat business and identify further opportunities within existing practices and strategic accounts.
- Work closely with ALC's lighting-design, technical and commercial teams to progress suitable opportunities through design engagement, specification and commercial closure.
- Deliver agreed commercial and profitability objectives while protecting ALC's positioning as a premium architectural-lighting solutions company.

Working With the Lighting Design Team The role works closely with ALC's Lighting Designers / Solution Consultants, bringing specialist design expertise into opportunities where appropriate.





The objective is to combine strong client and account development with credible lighting-design and technical support, allowing ALC to engage clients as a solutions partner rather than simply as a product supplier.

Preferred Background

Experience in architectural lighting would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Strong candidates may also come from premium specification-led industries such as architectural products, furniture, façades, kitchens, sanitaryware, automation, acoustics or similar sectors.

Candidates from outside lighting should demonstrate successful experience working directly with architects, interior designers, consultants, developers or other specification-led professional clients.

This Role Is Not

This is not primarily

- an enquiry-handling position;
- a quotation-coordination role;
- dealer or distributor management;
- a position dependent mainly on an existing contact list;
- or transactional product sales.

We are looking for someone who can create new relationships, uncover opportunities and systematically develop accounts over time.

You will work directly with architects, interior designers, lighting designers, developers and clients, often from early project identification and design discussions through specification, technical development and execution.

The role offers meaningful autonomy to build relationships, develop new accounts and grow your market, backed by an experienced lighting-design and technical team that gives your client conversations real depth.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
