Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Financial Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in financial services processes, customer verification, compliance operations and business requirement management.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document business requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze customer onboarding, verification and compliance-related business processes.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis and process improvement assessments.
- Coordinate with business, technology, risk and operations teams.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
- Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking and business sign-off.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
- Maintain project documentation using JIRA and Confluence.

Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech.
- Hands-on experience in KYC, AML, CDD,



EDD and customer onboarding processes.
- Understanding of customer due diligence and risk assessment.
- Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, aggregations and subqueries.
- Experience with Excel and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent documentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Good to Have
- Knowledge of RBI and FATF regulatory guidelines.
- Exposure to sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and adverse media.
- Experience with financial compliance platforms and data integrations.
- Knowledge of APIs and data validation.
- CBAP, CCBA or equivalent certification.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related discipline.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
