Role Summary

Responsible for developing accurate and coordinated HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit, based on design drawings, specifications, project standards and engineering inputs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 3D HVAC models using Autodesk Revit MEP. Model HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, equipment, air terminals and associated accessories.

Interpret HVAC layouts, schematics, sections, equipment schedules and design drawings.

Develop duct and piping layouts with appropriate sizes, elevations, fittings, insulation and accessories. Coordinate HVAC services with architectural, structural, electrical and plumbing models.

Identify clashes, resolve modelling issues and support clash detection using Navisworks.

Prepare coordinated plans, sections, elevations, shop drawings and schedules as required.





Incorporate design revisions and client review comments. Perform self-quality checks and deliver models within agreed project timelines.

Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, LOD requirements and quality procedures.

Required Technical Skills

4–5 years of hands-on HVAC BIM modelling experience.

Solid proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.

Good understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping and equipment installation.

Ability to read and interpret HVAC design drawings and schematics. Knowledge of clash detection, coordination and model quality checks.

Experience with Navisworks and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 is an advantage.
