Job Summary

Devdwaraka Infra Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry to handle project billing, quantity estimation, measurement verification, client billing, subcontractor billing, and documentation. The candidate will coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and accounts teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Billing & RA Bills

- Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills and final bills as per project requirements.
- Prepare client invoices based on approved BOQs, work orders, measurements, and contract terms.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants for bill certification and payment follow-ups.
- Track submitted bills, certified amounts, deductions, and outstanding payments.

2. Quantity Surveying & Measurements

- Verify quantities of civil, structural, finishing, and other construction works executed at site.
- Prepare measurement sheets, quantity calculations, and reconciliation statements.
- Check BOQ quantities against actual site execution.
- Assist in preparing rate analysis and variation claims for additional or extra items.

3. Subcontractor Billing

- Verify subcontractor bills against actual work completed and approved measurements.
- Check work orders, agreed rates, quantities, and supporting documents before bill processing.
- Coordinate with site engineers for measurement verification and certification.
- Maintain records of subcontractor bills, advances, deductions, and payment status.

4. Cost Control & Documentation





- Maintain project-wise billing trackers and records of client and subcontractor bills.
- Monitor BOQ quantities, executed quantities, billed quantities, and balance quantities.
- Coordinate with the procurement and accounts teams for material bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper records of work orders, measurement books, invoices, and billing approvals.
- Assist in identifying billing discrepancies, quantity variations, and potential cost overruns.

5. Site Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and the accounts team for timely bill preparation.
- Collect daily progress updates and measurements required for billing.
- Prepare weekly and monthly billing status reports.
- Ensure bills are submitted within the stipulated timelines and follow up on pending certifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in construction billing or quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of RA bills, BOQ, BBS, measurement sheets, and subcontractor billing.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of civil construction drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
- Good numerical, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, or PEB projects will be an advantage.
