Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Python) with 1 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern Python frameworks, databases, and cloud-based environments, and should collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
- Work with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 5 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
- Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and OOP concepts




- Experience with at least one backend framework:
- Django / Flask / FastAPI

- Proficiency in REST API development
- Working knowledge of databases:

- Relational: PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Optional: MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

- Basic understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with Git / version control systems
- Experience in writing unit tests and basic test automation

Good to Have (Nice to Have)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker / containerization
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
