- As an AWS DevOps Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure management

- This role involves working with development and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the reliability of applications hosted on the AWS platform

Responsibilities

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

- Define, version, and automate the provisioning of infrastructure components

- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications hosted on AWS

- Integrate automated testing and deployment processes into the CI/CD pipelines

- Automation Scripts:Develop automation scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and deployment processes

- Automate manual processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors

- AWS Services Integration:Integrate and configure various AWS services to support CI/CD, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodeDeploy

- Leverage AWS Lambda for serverless automation tasks





- Configuration Management:Implement configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to automate the setup and configuration of infrastructure components

- Ensure consistency and repeatability in server configurations

- Monitoring and Logging:Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of AWS resources

- Configure logging and monitoring tools to detect and respond to issues proactively

- Security Automation:Implement security automation practices to ensure compliance with security policies and standards

- Automate security checks and vulnerability assessments in the CI/CD pipelines

- Collaboration:Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to understand requirements and implement automation solutions

- Participate in Agile/DevOps practices, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

- Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, scripts, and configurations

- Create documentation for troubleshooting and issue resolution

- Continuous Learning:Stay updated on AWS services, DevOps best practices, and emerging technologies

- Seek opportunities for career development and training
