We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead our procurement and sourcing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) via government tenders, corporate fleets, and individual sellers. You will also manage vendor contracts for the distribution of recovered raw materials (steel, aluminum, copper) and ensure all buying processes align with strict environmental and transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing ELVs: Secure inventory of 15-year-old passenger and commercial vehicles by participating in MSTC auctions, public tenders (PWD, BHEL, NHPC), and corporate fleet liquidation.

Vendor & Scrap Management: Negotiate contracts with authorized metal recyclers, ingot manufacturers, and buyers for segregated scrap (steel shells, copper wiring, tires, and aluminum components).

Compliance Tracking:



Ensure all procurement transactions strictly adhere to MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) guidelines and the national VAHAN database workflow.

Inbound Logistics: Oversee the pricing, valuation, and transport operations of acquiring old vehicles to optimize the plant's intake capacity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 4–7 years in industrial procurement, heavy metal scrap purchasing, or automotive supply chain management. (Prior RVSF or e-auction experience is highly preferred).

Skillset: Proven track record with MSTC portal bidding, steel/scrap market pricing analysis, and contract negotiation.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
