Job Requirements

Job Summary:

- The Test Engineer will support testing activities for the integration of new data and analytics platforms with existing source systems and downstream applications

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a comprehensive testing approach for the new platforms and their integrations.

- Validate that the new platforms are installed and integrated correctly with existing source systems and downstream applications

- Validate that the solution delivers against the defined URS and user story requirements.

- Test the platforms to ensure they are sufficiently resilient to standard human or system errors, including:

- Outages

- Network issues

- Performance issues

- Other standard error scenarios

- Perform Data Validation Testing.

- Work closely with the respective platform SMEs to understand the platforms and identify the relevant test scenarios and test cases.

- Collaborate with end users and the Product Owner to understand and establish the required UAT scenarios and testing.





Guide The Creation Of The Required Testing Assets, Including

- Test Scripts

- Test Protocols

- Test Summary Reports

- Testing Process documentation

- Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, integration, resilience, and data validation scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT Industry

- Strong analytical skills.

- Robust experience in functional testing.

- Experience in test automation.

- Experience with Selenium is preferred.

- Ability to work closely with platform SMEs, end users, and Product Owners to establish appropriate testing coverage.

- Ability to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate test scenarios and test cases.

- Experience in creating and guiding the development of test scripts, test protocols, and test summary reports.
