Main Responsibilities and Key Objectives

Programming of machine PLCs and HMIs:

▪ Read, Develop, test and commission programs for machine programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to perform current tasks or improve existing functionality of company machines.

▪ Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues promptly.

▪ Develop, test and commission software for HMI hardware.

▪ Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to the above.

▪ Travelling to customer premises for commissioning or troubleshooting of machines. This can include multiple trips abroad.

▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals.

▪ Prepare and perform training sessions to teach the department, as well as other company departments.

Electrical and Electronics:

▪ Electrical wiring of machines, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.

▪ Maintaining and sourcing materials for company machines and facilities.

▪ Read, Design, prepare and maintain Electrical drawings for the machines prepared by the company for customers, as well as other machinery.

▪ Coordination with external vendors for selection and ordering of hardware relating to existing or new company machines.

▪ Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to electrical wiring or hardware– remotely or at customer premises.

▪ Travelling to customer premises for commissioning or troubleshooting of machines. This can include multiple trips abroad.

▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals

▪ Prepare and perform training sessions to teach other Teams internally.

Standards and Machine Safety:

▪ Reading and learning standards for implementation on company machines





▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals regarding machine safety.

▪ Preparation of processes for ensuring machine safety is maintained.

▪ Prepare and perform training sessions to teach the department, as well as other company departments.

Other:

▪ Abide by the company code of conduct.

▪ After Sales Support can require travelling to the customer premises, mostly located abroad.

Opportunity for Growth In addition to learning and improving on the aforementioned responsibilities, depending on performance and company needs, growth opportunities will be provided for the below subjects:

Industrial Robot programming and commissioning:

▪ Program and Commission Hilectro (or other brand) 3 axis robot.

▪ Program and Commission Fanuc (or other brand) 6 axis robot.

▪ Integrate the robot with other systems, like an Injection Moulding Machine.

▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals.

▪ Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to the above.

Pneumatic Systems:

▪ Read, Design, and maintain Pneumatic drawings for the machines prepared by the company for customers.

▪ Selection of Hardware relating to existing or new company machines.

▪ Coordination with external vendors for selection and ordering of hardware relating to existing or new company machines.

▪ Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of pneumatic systems.

▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals





▪ Prepare and perform training sessions to teach the department, as well as other company departments.

▪ Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to the above.

PET Plastic Processing:

▪ Learn how to operate Injection Moulding Machines (IMM) for the production of PET Preforms or other products.

▪ Learn how to operate company Injection Stretch-blow moulding machines for the production of PET Containers.

▪ Learn how to adjust parameters in order to successfully blow PET containers, as well as troubleshoot issues.

▪ Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of IMM and company machines.

▪ Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and training manuals

▪ Prepare and perform training sessions to teach the department, as well as other company departments.

▪ Provide Technical support to customers for issues relating to the above.

Job Requirements

Minimum Expected Qualifications:

▪ Degree in Automation or Electronics Engineer or similar with a minimum grade of 2:1 (60%)

▪ Postgraduate degree in a similar field will be considered an advantage

▪ Good knowledge of automation components and systems

▪ Good knowledge of electronics and electrical systems

▪ Good knowledge in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder, Structured Text, Continuous Function Chart.

▪ Good knowledge of Beckhoff Twincat 2 and 3 knowledge or similar environment

▪ Good PC skills: Word/Excel/Outlook
