Position Overview The Associate will play a key role in supporting Baker Tilly’s mission to deliver exceptional client service and strategic insights. This position involves assisting clients with buy-side and sell-side M&A; transactions as part of the Investment Banking team.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing pitch books, company profiles

- Conducting industry study and preparing reports

- Computing trading comps and precedent transactions comps

- Studying, building & analyzing different business & financial models

- Preparation of valuation models

- Preparation of list of potential sellers / buyers

- Contacting Industry players for potential M&A; opportunities globally

Desired Skills:

- Solid attention to detail, conscientious and ability to prioritise work.

- Critical thinking, strong reasoning ability, sense of logic

- Accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills

- Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective





- Knowledge of conducting open ended secondary research to garner industry specific insights

- Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills

- Adaptability to a dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and stringent deadlines

- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel, Power point, Word.

- Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.

- Ability to work well in teams

Qualification:

- Qualified chartered accountants or an MBA from a reputed college with experience in IB and having good knowledge of preparation of information memorandum / financial modelling / valuation.

- Work experience of minimum 2-4 years post qualification in IB firms / Big4 / KPO preferred.
