Role Description The Assistant Video Editor will support the creation of digital video content that showcases Popular Foods Co.’s products, brand stories, and campaigns. This full-time, on-site role is based in Nelamangala and involves assembling raw footage, organizing media assets, and editing videos for various platforms, including social media and e-commerce listings. Day-to-day responsibilities include trimming and sequencing clips, basic color correction, adding graphics or motion elements, syncing audio, and ensuring brand consistency in all deliverables.





The role will collaborate closely with the marketing and production teams, follow creative briefs, adapt content to different formats and aspect ratios, and maintain organized project files and backups.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Video Production and an understanding of shooting basics and file formats.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Video Editing, including cutting, sequencing, and exporting content for multiple platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to adjust exposure, color balance, and overall visual tone.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple titles, overlays, and product-focused visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic graphic design software is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in office with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in food, FMCG, or consumer brands is an advantage, as is familiarity with social media and e-commerce video formats.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
