Assistant Manager – Maintenance

Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000 CTC per month

Experience: 5–8 Years (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Ensure smooth functioning of injection molding machines, production equipment, utilities, and associated systems.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and engineers and allocate daily tasks.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and applicable quality management system requirements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the Store and Purchase departments.
- Support equipment installation,



commissioning, calibration coordination, and validation activities as applicable.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5S and workplace safety practices.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Required Skills

- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience with injection molding machines and industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Team handling and maintenance planning skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance documentation, spare parts management, and safety procedures.
