Assistant Manager Technical Regulatory Affairs will ensure regulatory compliance of cosmetic and Ayurvedic products for Indian and global markets by reviewing formulations, labels, PIFs, SDS, and safety documentation in line with Indian FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, and GCC/GSO requirements. The role supports R&D; and QA teams to enable compliant product development, certifications, and export readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure regulatory compliance of cosmetic and Ayurvedic products for Indian and export markets Review formulations, labels, claims, PIFs, and safety documentation Manage regulatory submissions and approvals with State and Central Drug Authorities Support R&D; and QA teams during new product development Monitor regulatory updates and implement compliance changes Maintain regulatory documentation and certification requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Indian cosmetic & Ayurvedic regulations (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Cosmetics Rules 2020)



Expertise in EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009), GCC/GSO guidelines Product formulation and ingredient compliance review Preparation and maintenance of PIF, SDS, and safety documentation Label, claims, and artwork regulatory review Regulatory submissions and coordination with FDA (Uttarakhand) ECOCERT, COSMOS, and organic certification handling Regulatory intelligence and change management Cross-functional coordination with R&D;, QA/QC, Design, and Procurement Solid documentation, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Experience

Specific experience require in Technical Regulatory Affairs within Cosmetics, Ayurvedic, or Personal Care industry Hands-on experience in Indian cosmetic regulations and export compliance Practical exposure to EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009) and GCC/GSO requirements Experience in preparation and maintenance of PIFs, SDS, safety assessments, and label reviews Experience in handling regulatory submissions, approvals, and certifications (ECOCERT, COSMOS, Organic) Prior experience working closely with R&D;, QA/QC, and cross-functional teamsired
