Role - Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Summary

SB Pumps is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop dealer and distributor networks, and strengthen customer relationships within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial equipment, pumps, mining, infrastructure, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify recent business opportunities and expand market presence in the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and support dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Build strong relationships with industrial customers, consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and government/PSU organizations.
- Generate leads, conduct customer visits, and follow up on inquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Promote SB Pumps product range, including dewatering pumps,



submersible slurry pumps, drainage pumps, and other industrial pumping solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical support, pricing, order processing, and customer service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely payment follow-ups and maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory to develop business.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Graduate in Engineering.
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial equipment, pumps, or engineering products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new markets.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and willing to travel extensively.
- Knowledge of dealer/channel management and industrial project sales will be preferred.
