We are looking for a results-driven Area Manager Operations to manage multiple restaurants, drive sales growth and profitability, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high standards of customer experience, compliance, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Performance & Sales Growth

- Drive achievement of sales targets across assigned restaurants through effective business planning and execution of local store marketing initiatives.
- Monitor restaurant performance, identify business opportunities, and implement action plans to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Control food, paper, and distribution costs in line with business targets.
- Analyse monthly MIS reports and operational dashboards to identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions.

2. Restaurant Operations & Excellence

- Ensure consistent implementation of operational playbooks, standard operating procedures, and brand service standards across all restaurants.
- Monitor front-of-house and back-of-house processes through regular operational reviews.
- Conduct monthly unannounced management visits and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
- Drive internal audits, compliance checks, and corrective action plans to maintain operational standards.
- Maintain restaurant operational excellence scores above defined business benchmarks.

3. Customer Experience & Brand Standards

- Drive consistent delivery of excellent customer service and overall guest experience across the assigned patch.
- Implement customer engagement and loyalty initiatives to increase repeat visits and customer retention.
- Monitor customer feedback, identify service gaps, and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, quality, and brand standards.

4. People Management & Development

- Lead, coach, and develop Restaurant General Managers and restaurant teams to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels and ensure critical positions are fully staffed across existing restaurants.




- Ensure new restaurants achieve required staffing strength within one month of launch.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, training, capability development, and retention.
- Maintain restaurant team capability scores above 80% through structured training and development plans.
- Monitor attrition trends and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

5. Process Compliance & Performance Reviews

- Ensure effective implementation and regular review of FOH and BOH operational processes.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with Restaurant General Managers and monthly business reviews across the assigned patch.
- Ensure timely completion of management visitation reports, internal audits, and corrective action plans.
- Track key performance indicators through MIS reports, dashboards, and operational scorecards.

6. New Restaurant Launches

- Support new restaurant openings by coordinating staffing, training, operational readiness, and adherence to brand standards.
- Monitor post-launch performance and ensure staffing and operational benchmarks are achieved within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Projects, Design, and Culinary teams to ensure smooth execution.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 6-8 years of relevant experience in QSR, F&B;, retail, or hospitality operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple restaurants, stores, or business units.
- Strong understanding of sales management, cost control, profitability, and operational KPIs.
- Experience in team leadership, talent development, employee engagement, and staffing management.
- Knowledge of restaurant audits, food safety, hygiene, operational compliance, and customer service standards.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a geographically distributed team and drive performance through Restaurant General Managers.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting, performance dashboards, and business review processes.
- Willingness to travel across assigned restaurant locations as required..
