COMSOL India is seeking an Applications Engineer with a specialty in Acoustics to join its Bangalore office. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in acoustics modeling, wave propagation in fluids and solids, piezoelectric devices, surface acoustic waves, non-linear acoustics, aeroacoustics, or thermoacoustics is desirable, as well as any experience in multiphysics analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

•Interact with researchers and engineers to understand needs and provide relevant solutions based on the COMSOL product suite.

•Independently identify and create an action plan to enable customer fulfillment.

•Interact with COMSOL users to ensure achievement of customer business goals.





•Create industry relevant proof of concept models.

•Conduct training courses to help existing and new customers with COMSOL usage.

•Problem solving and analytical skills

•Willing to work with customers on a daily basis

•Strong presentation skills, both in-person and on-line

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Strong technical skills in numerical analysis, physics, and COMSOL Multiphysics modeling

•Willingness to travel occasionally COMSOL Offers
