This role is leveled to support a talent pipeline — from recent college graduates at the entry level through experienced Senior/Lead engineers.

Responsibilities are consistent across levels; scope, autonomy, and impact increase with progression. Entry (Associate) Intermediate Senior / Lead Typical Experience 0-2 years; recent graduates welcome 2-5 years 5 years Scope & Autonomy Contributes components and enhancements with guidance Independently designs and delivers reusable capabilities for a defined area Owns architecture and direction of core platform capabilities. Design, build, test, and operate reusable AI-enabled core capabilities — automation frameworks, shared agents,



orchestration, and guardrails — used across infrastructure domains.

Convert field-proven patterns from Forward Deployed Engineers into scalable, hardened, well-documented platform capabilities. Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic frameworks to build and maintain the internal AI platform. Establish and maintain reliability, observability, security, and governance controls appropriate to a regulated healthcare workplace.

Provide reusable APIs, libraries, and templates that are easy for infrastructure teams to integrate and adopt. Analyze, design, code, test, and implement technical solutions meeting defined scope, target dates, and quality standards with minimal or no defects. Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, architecture, security, and platform teams to align capabilities with enterprise standards and roadmaps.

Document technical processes and procedures, participate in technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions, and stay current with relevant technologies.
