Senior Specialist - AEM Architect & Engineering Lead - 8 YrsSummary (Attractive & Engaging) Are you an accomplished Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expert passionate about architecting enterprise-scale digital experience platforms? We are seeking a Senior Specialist - AEM Architect & Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end AEM architecture, engineering excellence, digital transformation, and platform modernization initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape enterprise content ecosystems, lead large-scale AEM implementations, guide distributed engineering teams, and influence strategic technology decisions for global clients.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise AEM implementations across Sites, Assets, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Design scalable content models, repository structures, tenant architectures, release strategies, and authoring frameworks.
- Lead hybrid and headless AEM delivery models utilizing Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, SPA Editor, Universal Editor, and Edge Delivery Services.
- Architect reusable AEM component libraries, editable templates, governance standards, and design systems.
- Drive enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations leveraging AEM Assets, Dynamic Media, Asset Compute, Smart Tags, and Brand Portal.
- Design and optimize content supply chain workflows integrating Workfront, GenStudio, AEM Assets, and activation channels.
- Develop and review advanced AEM backend services including OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, Workflows, Event Handlers, and custom integrations.




- Optimize repository performance using Oak indexing, query tuning, content structures, and platform governance practices.
- Define caching, security, CDN, Dispatcher, traffic management, and Core Web Vitals optimization strategies.
- Design multi-brand, multi-market, and multi-tenant AEM rollout frameworks with MSM governance and localization capabilities.
- Lead integrations across Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party business platforms.
- Drive migration and modernization initiatives from legacy CMS platforms and AEM On-Premise to AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Manage Cloud Manager pipelines, code quality standards, testing strategies, DevOps processes, and release management.
- Mentor engineering teams, provide technical leadership, conduct architectural reviews, and support client engagements, workshops, and presales activities.

Requirements

- 10-15 years of experience in enterprise digital engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
- Expertise across AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Strong experience in AEM Sites, Assets, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, MSM, and DAM implementations.
- Deep expertise in Java (11/17), Apache Sling, OSGi, Oak, JCR, Maven, and AEM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL, SPA Editor, Universal Editor, and headless content delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Dispatcher, Adobe CDN, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale AEM implementations, migrations, integrations, and global rollouts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and leadership capabilities.
- Strong Agile delivery and distributed team management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Adobe Certified Expert/Professional/Architect certifications.
- Adobe Certified Master - AEM Sites Architect.




- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, RT-CDP, Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Target.
- Exposure to Firefly Services, GenStudio, and AI-powered content operations.
- Experience with AEM Forms, Adobe Commerce, or CIF.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
- Regulated industry experience in Banking, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.
