Role Description The Sr Lawyer will work full time on-site in Mumbai, handling complex legal matters and providing strategic advice to clients.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing case strategies, and representing clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings as needed. The role involves supervising junior legal staff, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all work complies with relevant laws and professional standards.

Qualifications





- Strong expertise in core legal practice areas (e.g., civil, corporate, family, or criminal law) relevant to the firm’s focus, with demonstrated experience handling complex cases.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and review of contracts, pleadings, opinions, and other legal documents, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective client-facing skills, including clear communication, negotiation, and the ability to explain legal issues and options in an accessible manner.
- Leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior lawyers, coordinating with support staff, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; enrollment with the appropriate Bar Council and eligibility to practice in India.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal organization, preferably in a senior or lead role in Mumbai or similar metropolitan setting.
