Role Description The Admission Head is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end admissions process for the institution. This role oversees student enrollment targets, designs and implements admission policies, and ensures that all procedures align with institutional standards and regulatory requirements.

The Admission

Head will manage inquiry handling, counseling of prospective students and families, application processing, and coordination of entrance assessments or interviews. The role involves supervising the admissions team, maintaining accurate admission data and reports,



and collaborating with academic and administrative departments for seamless student onboarding.

Head will also support outreach activities, school promotional events, and relationship-building with stakeholders to strengthen the institution’s visibility and enrollment.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise admission staff, allocate responsibilities, and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills for engaging prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in admission operations, including application processing, documentation, database management, and reporting.
- Ability to plan and execute outreach, marketing, and promotional activities related to admissions.
- Sound analytical and decision-making skills to forecast admission trends, set targets, and optimize processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in admissions, student enrollment, or administration in an educational institution, preferably at a leadership level.
- Familiarity with education sector regulations, institutional compliance requirements, and best practices in student recruitment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
